AARRRGGGHHH!!

When it rains, it pours. I find out late yesterday that the buyers on our home could not qualify for their loan. So no sale. This especially sucks, because we had just found an awesome house out in Saratoga and had put an offer in. I guess it was a good thing that it was not finalized yet, so we backed out.
Amy was up late last night cleaning the house getting it ready to show people. It is really hard for the girls, because they really have to limit the mess that they are making. It is hard on Amy because she needs to spend time every day tiding up.
We know it is our friends fault. They have flat out told us that they do not support us moving, and have been praying that things would go bad with our move. They must be living a better life than us, because they are winning now. I guess all we can hope for is to find another buyer real quick and then start looking again.

Traveling

With my job, I do not travel very much. But today I find myself in St. Louis for a customer event. The above pic is my unfortunate view from my hotel room. That is the Cardinals stadium out my room window. Tonight is a game in a suit while we wine and dine the customers. It is a tough job. Now I just need to get the customers to buy.

Lunch with Keith

Just had lunch with Keith at Legers in Sandy. He did my PPI and said I failed. Oh well, I can't be perfect at everything.

House offer

Yesterday we received our first offer on our home. As expected, it was a bit of a low ball, but tonight we signed a counter that puts us where we want to be. I guess we will see where it goes.

If the house does sale, we will immediately start looking for a new home. We will probably need to find an apartment in the mean time. I am not looking forward to that. But we want to have the time to make the best deal on a new home, and an apartment accomplishes that.

Eating out

Since we have put our house up for sale, we have been eating out a lot. With the traffic in the evenings of people looking at the house, we have been out of the house to stay out of their way. And to prevent the house from stinking like food, we have decided that it is just easier to eat out.

Tonight is wingers. The girls just finished gymnastics and are a bit rowdy, but at least they are not boys.

In other good news, a realtor who showed our house a couple of weeks ago, called to tell us that an offer should be coming soon. Fingers crossed. I will update as soon as I know more.

Welcome to our blog!

Okay, so I am like the worst blogger on the world. But with my new handy dandy blackberry, I am hoping that this will change. I will plan on updating frequently with news and pics. Enjoy
